Membership Application/Renewal Form
 
Membership in the Orchard Valley Garden Club provides access to all club events as well as membership in the Federated Garden Club of CT.  Members receive the club yearbook which includes plans for the year and basic information.  The club meets monthly from January through November, usually on the fourth Tuesday of the month.  Meetings and events are announced primarily by email and through our website (orchardvalleygardenclub@weebly.com) and our Facebook Page (Orchard Valley Garden Club). 
Dues for the 2022 calendar year are $25 for an individual and $30 for a member and spouse.

Checks should be made payable to “Orchard Valley Garden Club”.  Checks/cash should be submitted with this form and mailed to the Treasurer OVGC, 54 Amato Circle, Southington, CT 06489.  Dues will also be accepted at meetings.
 
The Orchard Valley Garden Club is a 501C3 not for profit organization dedicated to education about gardening, as well as the beautification and conservation of our community.  We hope to inspire a love of gardening and our environment.  As a member driven club, we ask that all members participate in a club committee, and also that they help with our annual Gardener’s Market (plant sale) Fundraiser. 
 
Please indicate your committee interests: 
__Active Gardening Team:  includes gardening tending and watering at our
    beautification/conservation sites
__Hospitality/Setup/Takedown: help set up room and refreshments for meetings
__Membership:  greet members and guests at meetings;
__Program: help with program planning and speaker hospitality though the year
__Raffle: recruit donations of plants, arrangements, and garden related items for our monthly raffle
__Scholarship Selection:  apply club criteria to determine most qualified scholarship applicant
__Social Media:  help with use of website and Facebook to publicize club activities
__Thalberg Team: participate in club activities with Thalberg School’s Genevieve’s Teaching
     Garden Club
